Expanded physical-modeling instruments
VIBE already includes Karplus-Strong pluck synthesis. We are exploring a broader physical-modeling family for strings, membranes, resonators, struck objects, and potentially wind-like sounds that respond more organically to performance and Motion.
The review will compare model types, expressive controls, preset design, performance limits, and fallback behavior across devices. We want to identify a small set of models that create distinct musical results instead of exposing a technical laboratory with overlapping controls.
