October 20, 2026: Sampler Deck, Staff Swipe, and better crew controls
Features
-
Turn a sound into a playable Sampler Deck. Sample nodes now have three modes: play a whole sound, chop one sound into slices, or build a kit with a different sound on each of 16 pads. Slice on transients, beats, or your own taps. Have incoming signals play the next pad or trigger a one-bar pattern, with separate preview Play/Stop controls. It's amazing and gets us closer to DAW sampling functionality but with a Vibe Together spin.
-
Staff Swipe (NEW MODE). Notes from your song fly onto a real musical staff. Steer your cursor onto them as they land on the beat. Find Staff Swipe on the Hub's Arcade branch or in the in-session Arcade menu, including while listening to a published Vibe.
-
Take the crew into shared Arcade rounds. Now you can take your friends aka "Crew" into a chosen game and have visible leaderboards while playing together. I also added ways for you to cooperate in Beat Dodge, or play Survivors in separate arenas while spending run XP to send enemy packs to another DJ's next wave. Try these out with your friends!
Improvements
-
Know who is coming along. Crew travel and loading cards show each DJ's Playing, Watching, Ready, or Loading state.
-
Pick the next song together. Now when playing with your friends you can have a crew song picker to find the next song to listen/play with filters, shuffling and more.
-
Music Unc. The Music Unc has a better look now based on yours truly with some animations.
Fixes
-
Recover a first live join after a missed client reply. Some players reported initial joining issues which should be resolved now.
-
Keep crew invitations through sign-in. Invitation intent survives account entry, reload, and DJ setup. Removed crew seats also close more cleanly.
-
Keep music through Arcade transitions. Fixes address loop-boundary playback and Beat Sync handoffs.
-
Export affected custom sound patches. Fixed a WAV/stem export failure affecting custom patches with certain effect routes.
